The North American Wind Energy Academy (NAWEA)/WindTech 2021 Conference will explore two main themes: grid integration and social/environmental issues. Students; faculty members; researchers; and industry, government, and non-governmental representatives from around the world are welcome to participate.
The conference, hosted by the Center for Research in Wind (CReW), is scheduled to be in-person at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware, on September 22–24, 2021. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for all participants, in addition to CDC and State of Delaware safety protocols at the time of the conference.
While we are hoping to meet in person, we understand there is a lot of uncertainty on the path ahead due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to an in-person event and are working on a contingency plan should the need arise to postpone the conference. Regardless of when we all come together, we promise the NAWEA/WindTech 2021 (or 2022) conference will be exciting and engaging!
Please continue to check back for updates as we continue to plan.
