The North American Wind Energy Academy (NAWEA)/WindTech 2021 Conference will explore two main themes: grid integration and social/environmental issues. Students; faculty members; researchers; and industry, government, and non-governmental representatives from around the world are welcome to participate.
The conference, hosted by the Center for Research in Wind (CReW), is scheduled to be in-person at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware, on September 22–24, 2021. If the conference needs to be delayed due to COVID-19, we will make that announcement as soon as possible.
While we are hoping to meet in person, we understand there is a lot of uncertainty on the path ahead due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to an in-person event and are working on a contingency plan should the need arise to postpone the conference. Regardless of when we all come together, we promise the NAWEA/WindTech 2021 (or 2022) conference will be exciting and engaging!
Please continue to check back for updates as we continue to plan.
